Amazon Integrates Image Recognition in to iOS App

Amazon has integrated shopping-by-camera functionality into its iOS application. Earlier it use to have barcode scanning feature, but the new feature is easier than the previous barcode scanning mechanism. It helps a lot for shoppers, specially to compare prices.

Amazon fully tested this Image Recognition shopping by camera feature. This technology not built from the scratch, it is built based on stand alone app called Flow. Amazon search and advertising wing unit A9 running Flow.
