Apple iPhone finally launched via China Mobile

China Mobile (中國移動), the biggest China wireless provider, yesterday started selling Apple iPhone to millions of customers nationwide. This ends a six-year wait in a crucial market for the US technology giant.Apple market share in China competitive smartphone market so crucial, China Mobile 760 million-strong customer base and its plans to roll out the worlds largest 4G (fourth-generation) network have both companies forecasting a great future after a long engagement. China Mobile has priced the iPhone 5S in line with competitor China Unicom (中國聯通). At official Apple stores prices for iPhones compatible with each of the countrys operators are identical — an iPhone 5S with 16GB of memory costs 5,288 yuan (US$867), while a similar-capacity 5C sells for 4,488 yuan.
