Google kills Windows and Mac desktop notifier app for mail and calendar. Quietly Google managed to pull the plug on its notifier service for calendar and gmail events for the desktop.

Well we might quite a few similar moves in the future by google and other big companies. The blame goes to smartphones, phablets, tablets migration from desktop and notebooks era.
