Google to buy thermostat company Nest for $3.2 billion

Google proposed a $3.2 billion cash deal to buy Nest a thermostat company. The deal expected to complete in next few months. Nest is a maker of thermostat and a smoke-and-carbon-monoxide monitor that can be controlled via Wi-Fi from a smartphone, also these equipment can re-program themselves based on people needs and behavior. Nest is a privately held company, it was founded in 2010. Currently there are more than 300 employees spread across three countries. Majoriy of the their employees are Apple former employees, including CEO Tony Fadell. This deal will help Google to get in to house hold to connect different devices inside the home. This is going to open a huge new market for Google.
